Adventure Coin is a location based game where you travel to real world GPS coordinates and claim ADV, a utility token on the Base network. This page covers the most common questions. If your issue is not here, email us.

Common issues
I cannot claim a coordinate
You need to be physically within the required range of the coordinate. Check that location permission is set to "While Using the App" or "Always", and that precise location is enabled. If you are close enough and it still fails, your GPS signal may be weak. Move to open sky and try again. Claims from inside large buildings often fail because the signal is blocked.
I claimed a coordinate but did not receive ADV
On chain transfers take a short time to confirm on the Base network. Open your wallet in the app and pull down to refresh. If the transaction has not appeared after 15 minutes, email us with your public wallet address and the coordinate you claimed, and we will look into it.
I forgot my recovery phrase
The recovery phrase is generated on your device and is never sent to us, so we cannot recover it for you. If you still have the app installed and your device unlocked, open Settings, then Wallet, then Export recovery phrase, and write it down somewhere safe offline. If you have lost both the phrase and access to the device, the wallet cannot be restored.
Connecting an external wallet
Open Settings, then Wallet, then Connect external wallet. Choose your wallet app, such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or Rainbow, and approve the connection request. This uses WalletConnect.
Removing a wallet
Open Settings, then Wallet, select the connected wallet, then choose Remove. This disconnects the wallet from the app. It does not delete the wallet itself and it does not move any funds.
Exporting your seed phrase
Open Settings, then Wallet, then Export recovery phrase. You will be asked to authenticate. Write the phrase down on paper and store it offline. Anyone who has this phrase has full control of your wallet, so never share it and never type it into another app or website.
